Kill the modern-day money addiction.

One of the key things that lead to success is to eliminate your dependency on the numbers in your bank account.

Attachment to money comes from fear of loss. Fear of change. Fear of the unknown. Take the common example of people not buying expensive coaching because they fear it won’t work. Is that really what’s going on?

I suggest they aren’t scared of the coaching not working. Instead, they’re afraid of looking bad for failing and being the idiot who wasted all their money. But that’s all ego, isn’t it? Is the world going to stop if you fail? Of course not! It’s much more likely that your fear’s the reason you’ll be that person. It restricts you from making decisions that allow you to succeed—like starting a business or making a risky career change. If you were guaranteed the coaching would work and could see six months into the future to witness the resultant lifestyle, you would do it without thinking.

So, you must decide as an entrepreneur, is it losing money that scares you, or is it your ego? Because you may fail. Would that make you less of a person?

NO, OF COURSE NOT!

Failing is often the first step to succeeding, and putting your ego aside to make room for money is one of the smartest things you can do.

The other place you see this ego vs money battle is the influencer marketing/content creator business. Influencers and content creators make millions of dollars these days, and anyone can do it. Most won’t. They watch 16-year-olds become rich online, ten-year-olds earn millions per year for opening presents sent to them for free, and 20-year-olds worth 100 million build a brand and community around travelling the world and partying. But they won’t spend money doing the same because they’re afraid of failing.

Success requires that you step beyond the “normal” or “traditional” and do something less familiar. You may feel silly doing it, and people around you may not understand what you’re doing, but that’s all about ego. So, my question here is, “Do you choose to soothe your ego or make money?” I pick money because even though those feelings are genuine, who’s the loser? Is it the 20-year-old who makes 200K per month working less than 40 hours of work per week? Or is it the 30-something who makes a stable 200K per year after spending four years getting a degree, ten years climbing the corporate ladder, and working 40 hours per week to make monthly debt payments on an over-leveraged home and car?

Many won’t understand what the hell you’re doing posting all of these things on social media, but do you really care about that? Or do you care about the opportunity to build wealth at a tremendous rate? Because it’s easier and cheaper than ever before, there’s no barrier to entry (degrees or age), and there’s no hard cap on your earnings. You can automate your system(s) to work 24 hours a day. And you’ll have instant communication, commerce, and connection with a network of four billion people worldwide. That represents real money: life-changing income that’s possible for anyone online who’s serious about learning and mastering the skills necessary to do it.

People can think whatever they want about me. I’m building my online empire. I became The Online Millionaire by challenging the status quo, and you can be the next online millionaire by doing the same. So, what about it? Are you capable of putting your ego aside for a life-changing, wealth-building opportunity?

Then wake up, stop denying the new reality of commerce, and plug yourself into the most incredible network of all time! They say an entrepreneur’s network is his net worth. Well, the internet is short for “international network.” With a network that big, building an online business is the most significant decision you can make.
