Get rid of your risk targets
Are you focused on the risk of being an entrepreneur? I ask because you only make rational decisions when you focus on the rewards. Entrepreneurship is risky, and you have to find a way to deal with that fact. If you can’t get rid of your risk targets, don’t become an entrepreneur because the stress will be too much for you.
You MUST shoulder risk to win big in entrepreneurship. I spent 18 months on my business startup with no cash return, and not knowing if it would work. But I prevailed until it did work.
So, a lot of what defines rational decision-making for the everyday person is actually the complete opposite for entrepreneurs. What may seem abstract, crazy or risky to the average person is how the entrepreneur gets rich. So my suggestion here is that you spend your time focused on the result you want—the reward!
